  • Get a good nights rest.

Stay hydrated and eat a decent meal within 2 hours of getting tattooed. You may bring bottled drinks and snacks if needed.

Try not to drink alcohol the night before and consult with your doctor if you are on a blood thinner or aspirin regimen as I do not recommend taking those for a few days prior to the tattoo.

Ibuprofen and Tylenol are acceptable. Mel does not use numbing agents.

Clean, lightly exfoliated and moisturized skin is best. No need to shave, Mel will do that for you.

Dress appropriately for your tattoo. Loose, breathable clothing is highly recommended. I also recommend a jacket/blanket and socks as the shop can get chilly, especially for a longer session.

If you are sick or have been exposed to Covid-19 please give us a call 48 hours prior to your appointment so we can reschedule.

Arrive 10 minutes prior to your tattoo to start your paperwork process. A government issued photo ID is required for all tattoo appointments.

Friends are welcome but multiple guests are not permitted in the tattoo station.

  • Mel is committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment. Your story matters here.

On the day of your appointment Mel will have an in person consultation to discuss all aspects of your tattoo before drawing.

Draw times vary and will result in a wait time to finalize your design.

Time is allocated in each appointment for designing, adjustments, stenciling as well as the tattoo procedure.

Mel will collaborate with you to ensure you're satisfied with the design and size.

Final price is given at checkout prior to starting your tattoo.

Your tattoo session is in a private room for your comfort.

Once completed, Mel will take photos, wrap your tattoo and go over aftercare.

Aftercare is TSA compliant and is available for purchase.

  • Please refer to the aftercare page for further instructions.
